Animal Rescue Foundation (A.R.F)

www.arf.ab.ca ARF's mission is to rescue stray and abandoned dogs and cats from First Nations and rural areas and place them in loving, permanent homes while providing programs to reduce pet over-population.

Northern Society for Animal Protection

www.nasap.ca NASAP exists for 2 basic reasons: 1)To provide a no-kill solution to the problem of homeless and unwanted animals in the Northern Alberta area, thus working towards the long term goal of reducing the practice of euthanasia as a means of controlling the pet population. 2)To assist wherever possible in the education of the public and government bodies regarding the importance of spaying and neutering household pets as a main ingredient in the progress towards the goal of controlling the pet population.

The Hervey Foundation for Cats

www.herveycats.com The Hervey Foundation for Cats is a place of refuge for cats who otherwise would perish: the abandoned, the abused, the sick, the old, the suffering. We are a no-kill, non-profit and tax-exempt private Charitable Foundation. We operate Our Adoption Centre and intake area in the Heart of Stony Plain.

New Hope Dog Rescue

http://www.newhoperescue.org We are a registered non-profit group of volunteers based in Saskatoon, SK. dedicated to rescuing unwanted, stray, abandoned, neglected and abused dogs. Through our rescue efforts we also strive to educate the public on humane treatment, lifelong commitment, and population control through spaying and neutering.

The Ferret Rescue & Education Society (FRES)

http://www.ferrets.ca We are a non-profit, charitable organization that was started by a group of devoted ferret owners in the Calgary area who recognized the need for a locally based rescue dedicated to ferrets.  Our committed volunteers assist FRES in their goal to find permanent homes for all of the ferrets surrendered to us.  They also provide shelter, basic needs, veterinary care, and if necessary, rehabilitation for all abused, unwanted, and abandoned ferrets regardless of their health status.
