Karia

Patton

We are told by a person that knew this dog she is a mixture of Akita, Bullmastiff & Red Heeler Her tail curls up sometimes and her ears fold forward. Karia is very pretty. When she first arrived at BAPS she was not only hungry and cold, but very timid and non trusting and did not like anyone trying to put a collar or leash near her. Karia has come to trust all her caregivers at BAPS and always has a big smile for them. She is used to the routine at the shelter and feels safe. She has definately calmed down considerably. Karia loves all the attention she gets from everyone at BAPS along with the wonderful volunteers who takes Karia out for walks. She is becoming very well socialized. This girl needs lots of love and patience along with a firm, but gentle hand. She would make a very loyal friend if given the chance. Karia does like children and seems to get along well with them. Only responsible pet owners need apply to adopt. This girl is awesome!

Karia is up-to-date with routine shots, house trained and spayed/neutered.

This handsome young man came to Baps as a little kitten. Patton was adopted out to a wonderful home, but for reasons beyond their control, Patton's family had to return him.

He is starting to relax and remembers the playroom. Patton is quite social and loves to play. He is curious and likes to check everything out.

All cats are spayed or neutered, microchipped, dewormed, have 1st vaccinations, and come with 6 weeks free pet health insurance at time of adoption.

Patton is up-to-date with routine shots, house trained and spayed/neutered.

The Brooks Animal Protection Society (formerly Brooks and District SPCA) is a charitable organization dedicated to finding homes for surrendered animals.

We are a very unique society, as we hold the contract with the City of Brooks, for Animal Control. All animals that are brought in through Animal Control are put up for adoption after four business days if not claimed.

If new homes cannot be found for these animals, we send them to non-kill rescue organizations in larger centres in hopes that they can find their forever homes.

Getting this webpage advertised so we can help all these pets get new homes, is much easier when other shelters or rescues put a link to our site. We are returning the favour to in turn help them. Please take some time and check them out.
