About Chase The Ace
Chase the Ace is a fundraising initiative organized by our team at BAPS to help us raise necessary funds to pay our bills and support the influx of animals brought into the shelter.
Where Can I Get Tickets And How Much Do They Cost?
Tickets can be purchased for one [1] for 5.00, three [3] for $10.00. There is no limit on the number of tickets that can be purchased for a draw. They are available for purchase at:

Sold each week, Monday – Saturday @ 4:30pm (Cut off)

Can I send an e-transfer?
Yes, we do accept e-transfer. Please follow the following steps;
1. Call our shelter @ 403-362-4323
2. Send an e-transfer to info@bapsociety.com
3. In the memo field, include your first and last name & phone number.
4. A BAPS team member will provide you with your number over the phone or by email.
Who Is Eligible To Participate?
This contest is open to any member of the public, and ticket sales are restricted to those 18 years of age and older.
What Are The Rules For BAPS Chase The Ace?
If YOUR name is drawn you automatically win 20% of the weekly ticket sales and a chance to draw a card. If you draw the “Ace of Spades” you also win the growing jackpot which also includes 30% of the weekly ticket sales. 50% of the weekly ticket sales go to supporting Brooks Animal Protection Society. Each week after the draw, the tickets are destroyed, and new tickets must be purchased for the next weeks draw which now has 1 less card.
Do I Need To Be Present At The Weekly Draw In Order To Be Eligible To “Chase The Ace.”?
Yes. Winner of the weekly draw will need to be present within 1 hour the draw, or we will draw a new name. Weekly draws will take place every Monday at BAPS @ 12:00pm and can be viewed on our Facebook page as a ‘Facebook Live’.
When Does the BAPS Chase The Ace End?
BAPS Chase the Ace ends when the Ace of Spades is drawn from the deck.
What Happens If The Ace Is Chosen In The First Week?
If the Ace of Spades is chosen in the first week, the fundraiser will immediately restart.
How Are The Funds Raised Being Used?
All funds raised will help support our local animal shelter. Since COVID-19 BAPS has been struggling to bring in enough donations and funds to run the shelter, pay bills, and provide for our animals. The funds raised will go directly to supporting BAPS! Learn more about BAPS; www.bapsociety.com
